The Twenty Fourth Meeting of the Texas Linguistics Society will take place February 21st to 22nd, 2025. The conference will be hosted in person at the University of Texas at Austin Glickman Conference Center. The organizers invite papers from all sub-fields of linguistics.
The keynote theme of this year’s conference is Approaches to Form & Meaning. The keynote speakers will be professors Corrine Occhino (University of Texas at Austin), Gary Lupyan (University of Wisconsin-Madison), and Roumyana Pancheva (University of California Santa Cruz).
Presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with an additional 10 minutes for questions/discussion. There will also be a poster session.
Abstract guidelines:
Abstracts should be written in English and should not exceed 500 words. The word count does not include examples, figure and table captions, or references. The submission should include the title and the text of the abstract. The abstract should be anonymous, i.e., it cannot include the author’s name, affiliation, or other identifying information. All abstracts will undergo a double-blind review process. Abstracts should be submitted through the EasyChair platform at the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tls2025
