The inaugural International Symposium on the Emerging Metaverse (ISEMV 2024), sponsored by the IEEE Metaverse Initiative, extends a warm invitation to students, researchers, practitioners, professionals, and innovators to contribute to join us in shaping the convergence of the real and digital worlds, as we embark on a journey to understand, realize, and influence the Metaverse. Together, let's chart a course towards a resilient and technologically enriched future, ensuring sustainable growth for the Metaverse ecosystem.

ISEMV solicits original, high-quality contributions that address diverse aspects of the of the Metaverse. From its technological underpinnings to its profound impact on industries, education, entertainment, society, and beyond, we welcome submissions in the form of technical papers, and posters.

ISEMV will be a full-day event co-located with the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR 2024), on Monday, October 21st, 2024. Join us as we embark on this transformative exploration of the Metaverse's potential and possibilities.

Papers should not exceed 4 pages, encompassing tables, figures, and references, while posters should adhere to a maximum of 2 pages, inclusive of all elements. All submissions must be original and should not be concurrently under review elsewhere.
