About ICESS2025

ICESS2025 (The 10th International Conference on Electronics and Software Science) is an international academic conference that aims to bring together diverse and significant research streams in the fields of electronics, software science, and related interdisciplinary areas.It provides a forum for researchers, engineers, and educators to present their latest findings, exchange ideas, and discuss future developments in both theoretical and practical aspects of these fields.

The conference will be held online on December 26–27, 2025, and is organized as a Technical Meeting within a Workshop of the Electronics, Information and Systems Society (EISS) of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ).

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

Submission Procedure

1. Review Paper Submission

   • Submit a 2–4 page paper (minimum 2 pages accepted) prepared in the specified format through EasyChair by November 4, 2025.

   • The paper should clearly describe the novelty of the work in comparison with previously published studies.

   • Please prepare your manuscript using the Word template, following the procedure described in the ICESS2025 web site (Authors’ Guide).

2. Notification of Acceptance

   • Authors will receive the review results via EasyChair on November 19, 2025.

3. Camera-Ready Submission

   • Revise your paper according to any reviewer comments and upload the final version (maximum 6 pages) to the designated IEEJ submission site by December 4, 2025.

4. Registration

   • Complete registration according to IEEJ’s instructions by the deadline listed on the ICESS2025 website (important dates).

   • At least one author (the presenter) must register for participation.

   • Registration Fees (JPY):

     • IEEJ Member (General, Student): Free

     • Non-Member (General): 4,000

     • Non-Member (Student): 2,000

Proceedings

The ICESS2025 Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEJ in the form of Technical Meeting Papers of the IEEJ. The copyright of papers published in the Proceedings will be held by the IEEJ. 

After publication, the ICESS2025 Proceedings will be issued as a set of Technical Meeting Papers in Society C — Workshop on Perception Information of the IEEJ. The Proceedings will be available for purchase from the IEEJ Electronic Library ( https://www.bookpark.ne.jp/ieej/ ) starting three days before the first day of ICESS2025.

The ICESS2025 Organizing Committee will provide detailed information regarding the publication of the Conference Proceedings to all registered participants of ICESS2025.

Post-Conference Publication: A special issue for ICESS2025 in the IEEJ Transactions on Electronics, Information and Systems

A special issue of ICESS2025 is planned for the IEEJ Transactions on Electronics, Information and Systems (Transactions C). This issue will include selected papers presented at ICESS2025, as well as extended versions of papers from previous conferences (ICESS2018–2024).

Papers accepted for the special issue, following the standard peer-review process of the IEEJ Transactions on Electronics, Information and Systems, are scheduled to be published in the December 2026 issue.
