ICAM the international conference on robotics and mechatronics, stands as a premier event within its domain, proudly sponsored by the robotics and mechatronics division (RMD) of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME). Since its inception in Tokyo in 1988, ICAM has remained a cornerstone in the field, boasting a rich history and tradition. As we embark on the 8^th iteration, ICAM2024 aims to encompass the entirety of robotics and advanced mechatronics, while also highlighting a collaborative effort between the RMD and six other divisions of JSME. This collaboration, involving the TRANSLOG, IIP, DMC, SHD, MNM, and Be divisions, will see the establishment of three organized sessions, aiming to foster international initiatives in the boundary fields of robotics and mechatronics, thus further solidifying the RMD’s presence on the global stage.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The authors can choose two types of submissions:

• Submission of "Extended Abstract" to ICAM
• Simultaneous submissions of "Full Paper" to ROBOMECH Journal and "Extended Abstract" to ICAM
