The 2027 IEEE PES Generation, Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exposition Latin America (IEEE PES GTD Latin America 2027) is one of the IEEE Power and Energy Society premier regional events dedicated to advancing knowledge, innovation, and collaboration in electric power generation, transmission, and distribution. Taking place on March 8—10, 2027, in Medellfn, Colombia, the conference will bring together researchers, industry leaders, utilities, manufacturers, policymakers, consultants, students, and young professionals from across Latin America and beyond to exchange technical knowledge, present innovative solutions, and foster collaboration among academia, industry, and government. Through a comprehensive technical program, an international exhibition, networking opportunities, and industry-focused activities, the conference will address key challenges related to the energy transition, digitalization, grid resilience, and sustainability, while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential drivers of innovation and the future of the power and energy sector.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome.
- Full papers: Papers should be written in English, unpublished, and not submitted elsewhere. Full papers must be formatted as the standard IEEE double-column conference template. A maximum 6 pages are allowed for each paper, including all illustrations and references.
