Swarm Intelligence and Deep Learning: Algorithms, Analysis and Applications
About the book
This edited book, entitled "Swarm Intelligence and Deep Learning: Algorithms, Analysis, and Applications," offers a comprehensive and forward-looking exploration of the synergy between two paradigms in Artificial Intelligence.
While conventional literature often treats metaheuristics as a secondary tool for hyperparameter tuning, this book establishes a bidirectional framework where Swarm Intelligence (SI) and Deep Learning (DL) exist in a state of mutualistic enhancement.
It details cutting-edge integrations, including the use of SI for optimizing Transformers, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and Large Language Models (LLMs). Conversely, it explores how DL-driven surrogate models can accelerate swarm evaluations and improve collective decision-making.
