Greetings from IIFT Kolkata!
We are excited to announce the Management Doctoral and Researcher's Colloquium (MDRC) 2024, hosted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kolkata Campus, on September 26th and 27th, 2024. The theme for this year’s Colloquium is: "Sustaining and Shaping Future: Management and Economic Perspectives."
This two-day event aims to provide a valuable platform for participants to receive constructive feedback from a panel of experts and to engage with eminent scholars and fellow researchers in the field.
We invite papers on a wide range of topics related to management studies, including but not limited to:
- International Business
- Economics
- Trade & Logistics
- Marketing Management
- Financial Management
- Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management
- Operations Management
- General Management
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Information Systems
- Strategic Management
We welcome submissions from all doctoral students and faculty members who have submitted their doctoral thesis or are currently pursuing Ph.D. programmes in the field of Management and Economics.
Submission Categories:
- Initial Stages of Ph.D. Research: Scholars who have completed coursework or made progress in research proposals may present their Research Design.
- Advanced Research: Scholars who have made significant progress in their Doctoral Thesis, are about to submit their thesis, or have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the doctoral defense seminar may present an Advanced Research Paper.

Participants intending to present their research at MDRC 2024 should fill out the registration form with their basic details and proceed to submission of registration fees upon receiving the acceptance of their submitted full paper/extended abstract. They can submit their paper/extended abstract directly to mdrc_iiftk@iift.edu or through EasyChair.
Submission Guidelines: Participants may submit an Extended Abstract (not exceeding 750 words) or a Full Paper (not exceeding 7000 words) in the following format:
- Introduction and Motivation
- Literature Review
- Objectives
- Data & Methodology
- Results and Findings (for Advanced Research Papers)
- Contribution & Conclusion
