The 3rd workshop on Innovations In Compiler Technology (IICT) aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of compiler technologies. The previous editions of the workshop were held in Bengaluru in September 2024 and September 2025. This edition of IICT is an iPLAN event and will be held on October 2-3, 2025 at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru. IICT focuses on the cutting-edge advancements in design, implementation, and optimization of compiler techniques as well as their applications on emerging software and hardware platforms. We invite research and practice papers from academia and industry for IICT-2026. We invite presentations on all aspects of programming languages and compilers, covering the classical compiler techniques, compilers for AI/ML, Domain Specific Languages, Web3, blockchain etc.

Submission Guidelines

IICT-2026 will feature two tracks : Research Papers and Practice Papers. Proposals can be submitted under the form of an extended abstract (2– 4 pages), full paper (4 – 8 pages) for the Research Papers track. For the Practice Papers track, the submission can be in the form of extended abstract (1 page or more) or slides. In all cases, submissions should provide sufficient information for the program committee to judge the quality of the submission.

In addition, papers which were accepted / presented in premier venues (CORE A*/A Conferences) in the last 12 months can also be submitted and a limited number of these may be accepted for presentation in a special session. For this, submit the camera-ready version of the accepted paper, clearly indicating (as a footnote in the first page) the venue where the paper has appeared.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee members and selection will happen in two steps: In the first step, a conditional acceptance will be provided. The second step requires the participants of conditionally accepted proposals to submit a 90-second video of their presentation which will be displayed as a teaser on the workshop website. The final acceptance will be provided based on the evaluation of the video presentations.

Some of the submissions may be accepted for poster presentation rather than conventional presentations.

As the workshop is intended as a forum for discussion of ongoing and emerging research, it will not publish formal proceedings. Consequently, the authors are free to submit extended or revised versions of their work to other conferences or journals.

Policy on AI Generated Content

• For any use of AI tools during the development process or elsewhere, it is expected there is responsible disclosure regarding this in the submission and authors should be prepared for questions regarding the same. Further, authors are accountable for the content in their presentations and papers.
• The use of AI for grammar checks and syntactical rewriting is not required to be disclosed.
