EMPOWER 2026 builds on the momentum of the 2025 edition, where breakthrough products, innovations, state‑of‑the‑art research, and community‑driven programs came together under one roof to transform real lives. Last year, we saw innovations that enabled students to learn independently, professionals with disabilities to navigate workplaces with confidence, and educators to access tools that strengthened communication and dignity.

This year, EMPOWER 2026 brings innovators, researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners into a shared space where lived experience guides design, research drives discovery, and field‑tested strategies empower communities. As India’s premier platform for assistive technology, EMPOWER 2026 accelerates the journey from ideas to impactful, scalable solutions that expand independence, opportunity, and inclusion for all.

EMPOWER 2026 invites contributions on all aspects related to technology and disability ranging from Research and Development, Manufacturing, Dissemination, Service Delivery, Training and Education, Usability and Impact.

Submission Procedures & Guidelines

Please ensure that the extended abstract is submitted in an accessible format. All authors must be listed on the extended abstract document as well as final camera ready paper (subject to acceptance) and must be disclosed before the review. Do designate one author as the contact author along with the email id and contact number for all related communication. At least one author must register and present at the conference for each selected paper.
