Digitalization in the era of big data sheds new light on language and cross-cultural education. Facilitated by emerging technologies in the above-mentioned fields, the mode of language and cross-cultural teaching and learning has been greatly changed, thus enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of education in such fields. This workshop aims to provide a unique forum for experts in computer science, information science, linguistics and cross-cultural communication to gather for discussions on digitalization in language and cross-cultural education, mainly focusing on the symbiosis of technology and human interaction as reflected in educational practice. Hopefully, digitalization in language and cross-cultural education can also provide insights to enhance the development of digital humanities in a broader sense.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

3. Emerging Technologies in Translation Education
4. Digital Humanities in Cross-cultural Communication Education
5. Application of Deep Learning in Language Education
6. Knowledge Engineering in Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
7. Collaborative Teaching and Learning in Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
8. Online Learning Platforms and Tools for Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
9. Big Data Modelling and Management in Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
10. Ubiquitous learning in Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
11. Digitalization of Assessment for Language and Cross-cultural Communication Education
12. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) or Small Private Online Course (SPOC)for Language and Cross-Cultural Education
Submissions must not exceed 12 pages in LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format. We encourage authors to cite related work comprehensively, and when citing conference papers please also consider to cite their extended journal versions if applicable.
All submissions must be in PDF format. Authors should avoid the use of non-English fonts to avoid problems with printing and viewing the submissions. All accepted papers MUST follow strictly the instructions for LNCS Authors. Springer's LNCS site offers style files and information.
There are two tracks for the workshop:
