The CIVILMEET-2026 is dedicated to the central theme of Sustainable Development in Civil and Environmental Engineering. As the global community strives to address climate change, urban resilience, and resource efficiency, this conference offers a vital platform for sharing research, innovations, and strategies that promote sustainability in both the built and natural environments. We warmly invite researchers, engineers, industry professionals, policymakers, and sustainability advocates from around the world to join us in Barcelona to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and help shape a more sustainable future.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Full papers describing Comprehensive research contributions presenting novel findings, methodologies, case studies, or applications in civil, environmental, or architectural engineering.

• Length: 6–10 pages (including references)

• Review: Peer-reviewed by the Technical Committee

• Presentation Format: Oral presentation at the conference

• Publication: Selected papers will be considered for indexed proceedings or journal partnerships

• Posters describing 

  Visual presentations of ongoing research, preliminary results, or innovative concepts. Ideal for early-stage work or student contributions.

• Length: 2–4 pages (extended abstract format)

• Review: Peer-reviewed for relevance and clarity

• Presentation Format: Poster display and interactive session

• Recognition: Eligible for Best Poster Awards

• All submissions must be in English and follow the CIVILMEET-2026 template (available on the website).

• Each submission must include:

• Title

• Author(s) and affiliation(s)

• Abstract (150–250 words)

• Keywords (3–5)

• Main content and references
