The series of BIBE Conferences, founded in 2000, is the longest-running IEEE Conference of its kind by inspiring many similar venues. The 24th annual IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Bioengineering aims at building synergies among the complementary disciplines of Bioinformatics, Bioengineering and Biomedicine. These synergies have delivered advances for understanding a wide range of complex issues and problems in the fields of medicine, bioengineering and biological systems, health environmental science, public healthcare, forensics, wearable and assistive devices and more. These fields have improved the human condition by helping us understand living organisms at multiple levels, developing innovative implants and bio-prosthetics, and by improving tools and techniques for the detection, prevention and treatment of diseases. The BIBE series provides a common platform for cross-fertilization of ideas and for shaping knowledge and scientific achievements by bringing these disciplines into an interactive and engaging forum. Keeping this objective in mind, BIBE solicits original contributions in the following non-exclusive lists of areas.
Submission Guidelines
Paper Submission
Each lead author must visit the EasyChair web site and establish an account with a username and password.
- Visit https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bibe2024
- Log in to EasyChair for IEEE BIBE 2024A. If you have an EasyChair account fill your credentials and press Log InB. If you have no EasyChair account then you have to press the create an account link.
Preparation of full paper
The submitted work should be original and not be published or concurrently submitted for publication elsewhere. Papers should be submitted electronically (through the BIBE website) in PDF format and should conform to IEEE specifications (single-space, double-column, 10-point font size, up to 8 pages). BIBE receives only full papers (up to 8 pages long). The Review Committee makes the decision of categorization of these papers based on their merit. More specifically, the categories are:
-
-
-
Full papers based on their quality after review (8 pages long with regular registration plus one extra page, if needed, with extra cost $100 according to IEEE CS policy).
-
Short papers based on their merit after review (5 pages long with regular registration plus one extra page, if needed, with extra cost $100 according to IEEE CS policy).
-
-
Full papers and short papers will be published in the same proceedings and will be presented in the sessions in a mixed order.
For your convenience, the Conference Paper templates in various formats are available through the following links:
Submission steps using EasyChair Submission System
Please login to EasyChair at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bibe2024 and follow the instructions, step by step, and then use the “Submit” button at the bottom of the form. The required fields are marked by *.
- Add all authors of the paper.
- Type in the title of the paper and enter a brief abstract of your paper.
- Then type a list of keywords (also known as key phrases or key terms), one per line to characterize your submission. You should specify at least three keywords. These keywords help to select the topic area your paper falls under best. [note: This will help in matching reviewers with corresponding areas of expertise.]
- The last section says Files Click on the button, in order to upload the PDF of your Full Paper.
- When you are ready the Click the Submit button.
