The workshop titied “Behavioral Biometrics for User Authentication in Mobile Devices (BBUAM'25)” will focus on exploring the potential and challenges of using behavioral biometrics to secure mobile devices. Unlike traditional biometrics (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition), behavioral biometrics identify users based on patterns in their interactions with devices, such as typing speed, touch gestures, and motion dynamics. As mobile devices become critical in personal and professional spheres, continuous and seamless authentication based on behavioral characteristics is emerging as a key method to enhance mobile security without disrupting user experience. This workshop will gather researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to present and discuss cutting-edge techniques, challenges, and applications of behavioral biometrics for mobile security. Discussions will cover topics such as privacy concerns, accuracy in diverse user populations, multi-modal systems, and future trends in this evolving field.
